Cabbage (Sugarloaf; whole)


Sugarloaf cabbages are an early maturing variety that are sweeter in flavour and lighter in texture than your tight packed and strong savoy. Along with Wombok (chinese cabbage) the conical shaped sugarloaf is fine cut fresh into salads and slaws but is a firmer counterpart to its asian cousin so it holds very well in cooking and it's lighter flavour doesn't overpower the dish. We like eating sugarloaves and I cant think of any better recommendation.
